As a financial advisor, I focus on providing services through a planning-based approach centered on education, goal setting, and helping clients implement actions to pursue their objectives. By making a financial plan a part of every new client engagement, I make sure that my recommendations are specific to each client. The investment recommendations come directly out of the planning process, which allows me to specialize in both financial planning and investments while continuously monitoring and adjusting strategies as life changes.

I graduated from Georgia State University's Robinson School of Business with a BS in Management and earned a Certificate in Financial Planning from Metropolitan State University. What inspired me to enter the financial industry was my desire to utilize my planning skills to make life better for my clients. Seeing the important changes that become possible through thoughtful planning is incredibly satisfying, and helping clients discover and reach their goals keeps me motivated every day.

My father was an Engineer, and moving was a big part of my childhood. I was born in California, but we moved all over the country as I grew up. I loved the adventure of making new friends wherever we went, and I still maintain friendships spanning over 50 years. While I don't see these friends as often as I'd like, we reconnect as if no time has passed.

I now live in Colorado, where I love the beautiful environment, healthy lifestyle, and cultural sophistication. Travel is one of my greatest passions. My first international trip to Egypt at 18 opened my eyes to the stark contrasts between wealth and poverty, revealing the diversity that exists both in the US and around the world.

I volunteer as Treasurer of Youth Celebrate Diversity, an organization that works with young people on human diversity issues. The participants develop their own programming while we provide structure, leadership training, and opportunities to make positive changes in their community. This work reflects my belief in empowering people to create better futures for themselves and others.
